Description:
A Kitchen Science Activity for Std 7 was conducted on 21.4.22 by the respective Science teachers in their classes.
The activity was about the colour change in natural indicator – turmeric in acidic and basic mediums.
The students made turmeric paper and then tested Kitchen items like soap solutions, toothpaste, vinegar, milk, curd etc. and noted the change in colour.
By this activity the students became aware of natural acids and bases used in our daily life and also the colour change in turmeric helped them to identify them as acid or base.
