A Kitchen Science Activity for Std 6 was conducted on 8.4.22 in all the sections of Std 6 by the science teachers.
The activity was related to finding the nutritional values of certain food items like biscuits, chocolates, toffees etc. Students brought the wrappers from home and noted the nutritional facts from them and pasted on bio sheets. They analyzed the nutritional values and learned about what is good for them in terms of nutrition. Thus, helping them make better choices about the food items and making them conscious about what they should eat for better health. The most important learning was to create awareness among the students.
