HelpAge India Student Action for Elderly is an initiative which calls for collective action from students, parents and schools to support the disadvantaged elderly of society.
Students went door to door for sensitising the value of care and respect for the elderly. They contributed a rich amount of ?4.6 Lakh which was further given to Mr. Alok Kumar Verma, the State In-charge, Bihar and Jharkhand in the morning assembly.
Mr. Verma expressed his gratitude to the Karentine gathering and mentioned that the raised amount was more than the double of last year. He also complimented the management, principal and other staff members for emphasising and building an age friendly society, amongst students.
