26 October 2021 was a warm and sunny day for St Karen’s Secondary School. The would-be Council members were super excited for the special occasion, The Oath Taking ceremony. The school premises was beautifully decorated with house flags and bright boards displaying council members name and their designation.
The ceremony started with the principal’s words of wisdom for the novice council members. She stressed on the importance of council members and their responsibilities. The student council members were adorned with the badges. They took the oath along with the house coordinators and house moderators to acknowledge their responsibilities. They also pledged to keep up the discipline and decorum of the school.
A sense of pride and faith was observed in the elected council members. The Vice-Captain, Head Boy, and Head Girl proposed the thanksgiving speech. The day ended with a cheesy smile on everyone’s face during the photo session.
