St. Karen’s Secondary School organised Phoenix ’24 Annual Inter-School Volleyball Tournament bringing together 10 teams from the prestigious schools for an exciting day of competition. The event featured spirited matches and highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The tournament was graced by Shri Ramashish Prasad Singh, Secretary of the Bihar Volleyball Association, as the Chief Guest. His presence added prestige to the event, and he emphasized the value of sports in shaping character and leadership. The tournament was couducted by national level refrees Mr. Abhishek Kumar Keshav, Mr. Smith Kumar Keshav, Mr. Murari Prasad, Mr. Adnan Ahmed, Mr. Aman Kumar and Mr. Deepak Choudhary.
The Principal of St. Karen’s welcomed the teams, teachers, and referees, stressing that sports teach important life lessons such as commitment, hard work, and resilience. The students were encouraged to enjoy the game and focus on their personal growth, regardless of the outcome. St. Karen’s Secondary School and Radiant International School advanced to the final. St. Karen’s Secondary School defeated Radiant International in the final, winning 25–17 in the first match and 25–18 in the second, claiming victory in the best-of-three matches.
The tournament marked a successful celebration of volleyball sportsmanship, with participants and spectators alike enjoying a day of healthy competition.
